NZPCRA Championship Race Dates

Here are the dates for the NZPCRA Championship.

Round 1 26-27 Sept 2009 Manfield Vic MMC Winter Series Round 5
Round 2-3 31st Oct 2009 Taupo NZPCRA GP
Round 4 12-13th Dec 2009 Pukekohe AMCC Club Series Round 2
Round 5-6 14th Mar 2010 Hampton NZPCRA
Round 7 27-28 Mar 2010 Hampton NZ National Champs Round 5
Round 8 24th Apr 2010 Pukekohe AMCC Club Series Round 4

At rounds 2-3 and 5-6 there will be two races for each class and both of the points from these races will count towards the series.
At the other meetings the points will be the overall for the day.

Hi Peter, just to confirm, for rounds 1, 4, 7 & 8 is there only 1 race which counts towards total points for the championship? Is it generally the second race of the meeting, for the appropriate class?

No. The points are award for the overall results for the round.
So if there are 2 races your points will be added together and compared to the others in the class to fined out who is 1st overall (25 points) etc. for that round.
In the rounds 2-3 and 5-6 (these are NZPCRA run meetings) you get points for both races. e.g. race1 1st 25 points, race 2 2nd place 20 points = 45 points for the round.
This should encourage the guys to support the club race meetings.
