    OBTURBATION...

Yeah, just give (or sell) it to someone with a firearms license... Make sure you sight the license first! Depending on flavour, it's about $6 - 10 per box of 50 rounds at the shops.

Pass it in to the Police. They'll then dispose of it responsibly.

    FFS don't burn it!!!!!!!

Yeah, but we do it under controlled conditions. it's real easy to fuck yourself up if you don't have the training or the gear. For Small Arms Ammo we have special reinforced steel incinerators, so if you do it in a 44 gallon drum you can still get shot, despite what the others on this thread reckon.

Pass it in to the cops. It's bloody dangerous.

Gelignite is even more fun, but NOT in or near ANYTHING metal or glass - BAD! Nah seriously I don't know how I am still alive after all the stupid stunts I have pulled over the years. Fucken funny though, and some great stories and memories.

    Safety glasses are good idea.

Not quite the whole back yard. The 'incinerator' was a 44 gallon drum that was a bit buggered so the pellets were firing all over the place. Not sure what the bullets were (I was like 13) but they were in one of those casing type things and when you shoot it, loads of pellets come out...???

Got a big box of rimfire cartridges you don't need?

Get some Blu-Tack and lay them along some railway tracks. Fun for the whole family!

Get a gun. Then dispose of them one at a time....

Take them to the shop, they will have info on gun clubs.Think this is a grey area re arms code, the licence owner dies and weapons/ammo on premises of unlicenced person, against the law.Going to shop means they can give you idea of value to a club as well.

And I just got a visit from local arms officer not 30 minutes ago,gun safe is fine 4 locks, professional made aluminium, but need to place securely in shed or cupboard with padlock, not under bed or wardrobe lol.He was impressed with the 4 legged burglar deterent.

Can only ditch ammo in "deep water", over 300 fathoms if I recall correctly.
