A ex MX rider getting into F1?
or a road rider getting into F1?
A ex MX rider getting into F1?

Whoever crosses the line 1st is better
Be a hard one to quantify..................from what I've seen over the last year though it seems there were a couple of very fast MXer's. Could be that they're more accustomed to falling off and so aren't as scared of a wee off on track.
Ask Shaun...

I know a cart guy or 2 that go well but i doubt there is a tried and proven advantage between any F1 riders or any other class for that matter.
I used to go faster around Manfeild on an F2 bike that i did on the F1 RC30.
Whoever has the fastest reaction time & best adrenalin and testosterone levels.

Carver, put up a post to make the KB indoor kart challenge!
Know a bloke in England whos been very successful in hill climb events (road bike) over there, hes an ex MX guy and as long as his bike has MX bars he rides it as though it was one.
Be the person your dog thinks you are...
if you decide a cart event....neither cos the girls from F3 would whip both asses with power to weight!!!!!
Taking it to the track thanks to: KIWIBIKE INSURANCE & PIRELLI TYRES, EXPERIENCE MOTORCYCLES, EBC Brakes, SUPERSPROX Sprockets, TSUBAKI Chains, RST Leathers, REPSOL Oils, FutureGrafix, Autolink
Last indoor kart racing broke two front axels without hitting anything.
They said they would prefer not to see me again.
I told then the surface was rough and the suspension and toe in were set wrong.Vince Martin would sort them for an alignment deal.
If you pull the brake lever up with the heel of your shoe they go faster...
Main difference is than an mx rider is already a racer and carries those skills over so can adapt quicker, a road rider has more to make their mind up on on certain skill sets when starting out in roadracing.
I assume by your first post you mean F1/F2 class in motorcycle racing?
yep look at CHOPPA, proof an MXer can do the bizz on the tarmac
'Good things come to those who wait'
Bollocks, get of your arse and go get it
You mean a hobby MX rider vs a hobby sports bike rider?
You need the best of both worlds. If you only have the back ground from one of the two, then there is a good chance that MX rider will come on top. I say this because a MX rider should be more aware of how different body inputs make the motorcycle react in different ways. You can ride a sports bike and pretend to go fast, despite making lots of errors in terms of correct riding form/body inputs. V.v. I don't see much happening in woodhil forest, when the rider doesn't have a clue on a MX bike..
