Know the feeling about not having a camera, the memories stay for life, our trip to Queenstown is like that, yep took heaps or pics, but the view doesn't come out in film as well as the memory.

The loose silage is a pain, even in a car, nearly lost it at 60km/hr in work van couple years ago with slippery silage,a huge clump was over the road, had no time to miss as truck approaching so ploughed through it,on way back the farmer was picking it up so good on him, stopped and he said he didn't know it had fallen off the feedout wagon until he came back 15 mins later, and he was into bikes so did his best to clean it off road. Not many guys care that much, but was on the Eltham Rd which is secondary route and reasonable traffic.

Photos and newsletter contributions gladly accepted! Jace is doing a write up too, but we can use this with some photos - more than one viewpoint of the weekend is always welcome!
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

Nope, Andy was home with me! He's Andy and the one you are talking about is always Andrew - that's how we tell them apart!

Been there, done that more than once, had a Corvette club run that I wanted to do so stayed home! Also had nine hours of academic editing to complete and somehow didn't think I'd get it done at Whanga! See you Monday night though.

You probably wouldn't have got it all done but the rum in the sun n the company would have made it far more fun

Let me know if you want an elf to help anytime. I quite enjoy that sort of stuff. I know there were spelling mistakes above but I was too lazy at the time to check place names Happy to help with club editor stuff but perhaps as your gopher rather than the main honcho

Should make monday night. VV busy at work and play so may be recovering from the weekend

Planning a pootle later today and a bracing walk on the beach with the dogs. Tama is ace to watch in the water.

Ta - certainly always keen for contributions, but it doesn't take too long to throw the newsletter together once I have them.

With my academic stuff, I'm usually bound by confidentiality so they're all mine, unfortunately! I've done quite a bit though, so once I get into it, it's quite easy to remember the right referencing style, the right way of formatting things, etc.

Usually that's what I do during the week, but with working fulltime until August 14 away from home, it had to be fitted into the weekend. I was planning to do it in the evenings but I get up at 6.15am and don't get home until after 6pm and by the time I've had dinner, I'm knackered! I did about half an hour on it one night and felt even more shattered!

You realise if you don't turn up to the AGM you get nominated for the worst jobs? Only joking!

Shit I don't wanna be responsible for getting people to turn up on time for the rides

Should make it, had a productive and fun time today and the poorly pony shouldn't need surgery tonight so I get sleep too.

See you monday and on a ride sometime soon ?????

Hopefully some of the CDers who had cameras might put some pics up soon!

    1. Enthusiastic CDers getting ready to leave Palmy
    2. Fog & frost adorn the sleeping thoroughbreds (and some chook chasers)
    3. Proof it's one very cool Electraglide
    4. The Whanga Hotel wakes up to a cold, foggy Sunday morn.

You are a sweetie: have you sorted those other pics for me tooo perhaps

Note - Not the best view of the sleeping beauty I see but I guess you didn't want it to upstage the Green machine and the Golden Triumph, that would get us in trouble with the Committee.

Have to pop back there soon for some more rum, maybe when I go see Kerry in a week or two
