I'm cool. The rest well...Oh and Muzza is cool. He gets us cheap brekky.
Spaz is not cool. Blame his "wife" for that [waits for shit to hit fan]
I may come for the brekky if the weather is bollocks.
Even though it's a technical ride it's still worth doing just to experience and develop. Riding on straights and long curves is easy but what do you learn from it?
Most are about as cool as a bucket of diahrrea! (old saying from school days). Of course you could check us out at the te Rapa tavern tonight and wednesdays with the $7 burger and pint of beer, juice, etc deal. from about 5.30 onwards - No drink driving tho.
I would love to have a look at your bike as when my wife started hassling me about moving up from her 250 your model was one of the ones we liked.

Hi It's OCT 14. I have only just found this thread. I have been wanting to find an existing group or start one in the Waikato for bikes up to riders happy to run at 90-100. I want to start an informal group, with the emphasis on riding within your confidence level without having to 'compete' with others.
Will you try for another run? I am avalible for weekday rides if anyone is keen. There are many side roads around my town (Te Awamutu) that are a lot of fun without having to go like hell. Give me a call if interested,
Welcome, our main thread is called Laxed Out Rides and we try and ride every Sunday. theres a few from out TA way. It is pretty informal and I usually end up Tail End Charle as my wife & friend ride 250's and are pretty new to riding. Its all about the company, the ride, the destination and not being pressured beyond you ability. As the weather improves more riders will come out of mothballs.

Lets hope it's a bloody tropical cyclone, then I wont have to take our exchange student to rainbows end. and I can go riding instead. Does the ride kick off from the Kingsgate about 9??.
Rock up about 9 if you wanna get to know a few people first or brekky. The rides leave about 10 generally.
Even if you don't wanna go on this long ride and you can, turn up and ask what level people are. Then you can get an idea of who will be sweet to ride with in the future. If those people put their name down for rides, you'll know there'll be a cruise group.
Me, I ride mid-pack so not one of the fast ones. A little bit quicker than a cruise though. When I want a break, I hang back. Gotta mix life up a little.
Oh and with regard to Rainbows End, don't fall asleep on the roller coaster. Kids cry because you ruin their photo![]()
For those following this thread and not our main laxed out ride thread, hand count at pub meeting last night looked like at least6-8 bikes going Sunday, leaving Kingsgate Hotel at 10.00 am. If weather not good a "follow the brighter cloud" run will probably take place and the awakino ride postponed to a later weekend

Any pootles on this weeking chaps ?
I have put a calendar entry for the Hamilton North School fundraiser for Children with Special needs event on 8th November. Was a pretty good ride last year with a number of us attending. Those not doing Hampton Downs come along, meet some new people and riders of different ability and age.
