Well, I had the chance to pillion this morning, so I took the bull by the horns, so to speak, and it wasn't as bad as what I'd imagined! My girlfriend knew I was a bit nervous, so she sat real still back there and by the time we got across town I was grinning like crazy! Then, whaddya know? This afternoon I pillioned the daughter as well!
Next thing is to pillion on my GT250R instead of a lil KR150. Haha

Took my daughter out again today

I take one of my kids anywhere I go, on R1 or ST 1100, bigger bike is better for taking pillion on, you need more power as you got more weight. I'm big guy so I'm not worried about them mowing around, but on ST1100, my kids keep falling sleep on long ridesTook my daughter out again today,about 6 times that happened, because ST is so quiet an comfortable and I had to strap them to my self, so they don't fall of the bike, my R1 is bit to nose to go to sleep.

Took out the daughter late this afternoon on the back of the GT250R. I could felt the extra weight on the bike but once out on the open road, I was sweet as. Just took it easy as low speeds.
This weekend with the KR150 and trying pillioning for the first time, I feel like I have climbed a mountain! Haha..

heh, i pillioned the missus on the back of my RG150 once for shit and giggles.
Rear shock was bottomed out, suffice to say we didn't go far or fast.

Used to pillion the wif on the RG150, although it could handle it without too much fuss, changing gears all the time was a pain! Happy to say that Thumper is much more fun to pillion, I forget that someone is on the back sometimes - go SV

I have pillioned my kids since I started riding really, they love bikes as much as me.... however I draw the line at pillioning someone bigger than me....

Pillioning is fine - especially if you have a bigger bike.
Kids just need a stern talking too - my son was scared going through the Woodville gorge when he was younger, kept leaning the wrong way, so I threw up the helmet as asked if he wanted to go down there (pointing into the river), told him if he didn't lean with me and fast, that was where we'd end up - never had any problems with him since that day
