The 60's Jamaican stuff is amazing too. I got into it solely because of the Clash covers of Junior Murvin's "Police and Thieves" and Toots and the Maytals "Pressure Drop"

Of the 2 original ones allocated to NZ I could tell you the Mainland one has quite a history There are I believe more than the original 2 in NZ now days. Before they could be sold new the local stealerships had a competition to sell the most Bonnevilles. Tommy's on Moorhouse Ave won that right, they repo'd it a bit later that's when I pounced on mine...

Been watchin' Spastic & Skutch have ya?

That car must have left the Ford factory without shockies judging by the alarming amount of wallowing when cornering/stopping.

Oh, and the bloody thing set off a rash of copy-cat paint jobs on everything from Minis to Mk3 Zephyrs, sheesh imitation is the sincerist form of flattery but c'mon, on a Morrie thou??.

Dont forget the waist-line of your bum-huggin' flares was up under your ribs somewhere...no skanky butt-crack showing back then...and no 'muffin-tops' either.
