Mossy round 3 Posties with cam footage

Awsome day for me.I was nervous going into the round after my fall last event.
Took three corners in qualify to drop the nerves.Started near the rear in qualify so trafic the whole way through which made it interesting.
Qualify 2nd behind Neil.i could have got some footage of him but because we were doing similar times and he went near the front I never caught up to him.

got some qualify footage of posties and there are alot of guys and gals in it if they want to search themselves out.The camera was a little near to the engine cooler vent area so the sound quality is not great.

Race one great start.round first corner leading.bike is handling great now the brake bind issue is solved.thank Motorad for the rebuild and time spent on brakes.
i have the bike detuned as the slides holes were to large but motormart have set it up awesome in the middle with what they had to work with.full horses coming back next meeting.
thought Neil would be on me at the hairpin but I assume that Paul B had got between us and one straight with big horsepower would have left distance between neil and myself.being 2nd year only racing leading is quite hard as im never sure how close people are and Paul B makes his yellow hotrod invisable as he hides himself like a cunning weasel.2nd lap paul comes through under brakes and we swap positions every corner for a lap.Once im clear I hammer down and decide to run every lap fast.I managed to beat my personal best 7 times in the race and knocked my best time from 1m16.8 to 1m15.8.
A second off and done during lap traffic so I was stoked.
8.5 second win as Paul had backed off after the lead extended I would expect.

    Race two.
very less than average start. At the moment the bike has 20hp at 3000rpm and I let it drop down after slight wheelie so she bogged badly.Clutched it a couple of times to get the revs up and back in the game but 4th around turn one.Sat in behind Neil for a while and Paul was ahead a fair distance but not extending so 2nd last lap decided to go have a look.Showed neil the wheel on the back straight and he gave me huge space onto front straight. Thanks neil if I had needed to take time getting through I would have had no chance closing the gap.Put a good lap in closed the gap and passed Paul on the final straight.very hot into the sweeper and having passed on the outside not a high speed onto front straight but managed to hold it to the line for a 0.08sec win.

First ever checker flag wins so it was the perfect race day for me.

only downside was i managed to scrape my fairing in turn one during race one so i had to let me painter budy in on my bad behavour.

Looking forward to seeing you all next round

Yeh cant wait till Pauls got his big bore kit.LOL
Me thinks improvements still required. Will have the full ponies back next meeting and a usable bottom end.I noticed exit of sweeper was slow to climb from 6000rpm in 4th and 3rd gear is to low.Bloody 5 speed box.it may have 6speed next year.

As an old mate (with an RG500 at the time) use to say, "that ADDS hundreds of dollars value to the bike, that does..."

So a vote for "Keep It"

Racers version of scrapped Hero Blobs....

Well, actually now I'm a little older I realise that scratched Hero Blobs means you were not riding properly... unless your leg was pinned to the track too...
