My Grandma used to say that! You should never give a knife or scissors as a gift.That's why the other person has to pay you for them - so they are no longer a gift. But then it means you didn't give her anything for her birthday!

Indoorsey? Kenwood chef mixer and a grand worth of attachments, wand blender, stone pizza oven, asian/other cooking classes, $500 quality knife set, "top mum" figurine for kitchen windowsill (do not underestimate this one), hand-made cards.
