Sickened by H-D group riders' actions on Sunday

I was out riding with a group of mates on sunday when i came across a Subaru that had just crashed. I stopped (like all real bikers do) to check wether they were ok and got a storm of abuse from the driver. They had just been forced off the road by a group of HDs that had come around the bend trying to pass a van (it was a sweepy open s bend that you could almost see right thru but not quite) and ran them off the road. The driver took his and his passengers life into his hands and missed the bikers by taking to the cheese cutter barrier. The car went thru the barrier and part way down a bank. I took the oppertunity to thank him sinceerly for not killing the idiots that put their life at risk. Let me tell ya they were not happy. Their car is totaled. They were shaken badly but not injured.

If you were part of this group of HD riders that left the PEG hotel in belfast about 11.30am on Sunday you should get your arse down to the local police and put your hand up. You still have time before your 24 hours runs out (yes i know it was more than 24 hours ago but the cop investigating the accident will give you leeway if you confess your involvement) and you get charged with leaving the scene of an accident, failing to check for injurys, failing to stop, and anything else they can think of. Unfortunately for you lot there is video evedance of your group (not taken by us) and it shows number plates clearly. The police were informed by the car driver and a witness that saw the car get run off the road. MAN UP and do the right thing!!!!!!!!!
    I am disgusted by you!

So, tell me; what makes your GSXR 1000 'the meanest on the block'?

The fact it won a NZ production superbike championship in its current form. Ride it if you dare.

Of course sprotbike riders would never ever ever be so irresponsible to do such a thing.

I'd say your Subaru driver is telling porkies to try and cover up some dumb driving on his part.

Us Harley riders are generally more considerate as we are well aware of the carnage our bikes can inflict on cars and small villages.

No sports bikers involved. only HD riders. The sport bike riders stopped to see if they could help. The hd riders did not. Whats your point????

    Eh - I don't get it.

If it happened as described by the author (and if there is video evidence) how come he's getting stick on here?

Irrelevant what anyone rides in this story other than it sounds like a group spin for the HD boys (very common in Canterbury - they actually ride them )

Sounds like a crappy pack riding mentality too me.

I've seen plenty of this around CHCH and environs on all types of bikes.

I guess the Subaru driver will just run the fuckers down next time?

    Just my 2c worth ...........
