    Car faceplants...

So last week some lady, here in Christchurch, decided to park her car in the Avon - allegedly helped along by black ice. She told the newspaper something along the lines of "luckily I'm a good driver, so I didn't do anything"... I'm still trying to figure that one out.

    Then today we have this.

Is there a pattern developing? And is there a correlation with the increase in prices on lamb?

LMAO: "I knew what happened immediately. Thank goodness I am a pretty good driver, and I just followed the skid and didn't brake or fight it,"

-That obviously helped out a lot! Without her good driving skills she might have spun around a few times, or skidded some more. But thanks to realizing the problem and doing nothing she has safely slid into a river

I'm sorry, but the most recent one isn't even news worthy.

She had to escape through the boot, AIDED BY OTHER PEOPLE. Godforfuckingbid she ever pushed that door lock in the bathroom, she's starve to death if noone found her! CLIMB THROUGH THE WINDOW OR OUT THE (Probably blocked) DOOR.

Excuse me, aftermath? Aftermath is the trip to the toilet you take 6 hours after eating curry, or a godawful C4 cluster destroying a couple of buildings.

Ah, I love a good bowl of rage in the morning.

Unfortunately most kiwi drivers actually think that they are a "good driver".

    lol

There are a couple of dumb arses that should have taken the day off sick and stayed in bed, can we blame it on the swine flu? But in saying that, out of all the hours that each of you have been in control of a vehicle, have you never done something even slightly dumb?

That's sexist, I resent that remark!

Although it seems it's not just the driving - parking is an issue too.

    Actually she said
"I knew what happened immediately. Thank goodness I am a pretty good driver, and I just followed the skid and didn't brake or fight it,"
And by that right she followed what advanced training teaches.....
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.

Yes, thank goodness. Otherwise she might have ended up in the river and totaled her car.... Wait, shit.

It's just funny that she's skidded into a river and still talking about what a good driver she is.

And no, not doing anything when your car is headed for the river isn't being "a good driver".
