just had a chat on the phone with this guy - they're a wholesaler but the shops aren't buying at the moment, seem reasonable and friendly, and are pretty honest about their scoots too (had an interesting convo about the manufacturers, country of manufacture, and build quality)

got about 50m up the road and lost the front at the intersection. cold tyres fail.

wingmirror gone, bent foot brake lever, more ground off the bar end but no tank damage this time around. developed a misfire on one or more cylinders but apparently it wasn't running too great anyway after he left it for almost 3 weeks while on outward bound
