Phewww bro, that's flash!!!
The RGV has now arrived, courtesy of Marcus (Biggles Racing) who very kindly picked it up in Auckland and transported it to Manfeild, and Skunk who brought it the rest of the way and delivered it to my door
On closer inspection, it looks like it's going to do the job very nicely!
According to Sketchy, the rear shock has no rebound damping and one of the fork seals is poked, but other than that it's in good nick.
I slipped the GP100 into the existing mounts tonight, it sits a bit low and a bit to the right so my current thinking is to make up a bracket that bolts into the existing mounts...I'll need to consult my chief engineer.
Next job is to finish rebuilding the GP100...still procrastinating over cutting the rotary disk valve. Then I'll sort out the forks and shock, then I'll worry about mounting the motor!
It's bloody good having an excuse to get into the garage (or garge).

Watch who you call a chief engineer.
It will be good to see you back out there again. Don't forget to take pictures as you go.
The frame is now stripped, and it turns out that I'm destined to crush my fingers every time I do work on the farken thing. First when I was dropping the engine out last week and then when I was pulling the rear shock off last night.
Still procrastinating over that bloody disk valve.
