    Smile Vfr 800

    Hi,

After careful saving and recent acquisition of my full license means i'm ready to ride with the big boys. I do a fair amount of long distance traveling and after some test rides I'm keen to grab a VFR800. I can pay cash (10 - 11k negotiable) and would be looking to buy from the end of the month (a nice wee Christmas present). For that amount of cash I'd be looking at an '02 onwards VFR with less than 40k on the clock, with appropriate paperwork for major services.

    Paul

It has 55km on the clock though but priced well I believe. Good luck.

    Cheers mate,

Have been keeping an eye on all of the usual sites (trademe, bikepoint etc.) but I was just checking to see if the KB faithful had anything unlisted on the above.

Plus I want a red one...

Yeah, that one would be more fasterer than the crappy red ones.

Not as good though as my VifFerraRi with gear-driven cams, EvoStar shifter kit, PCII, Racetech/Elka suspension, Satantune zorst, Unifilter, and customised paint....
Oh - and NO camchains or crappy Vtec.

Reputedly a good bike, I thought this was a tourer - why don't any of these have luggage?

Sports-tourer. The ST1300 and LardWing are the tourers.
The 2002-2009 models came "luggage ready" for the Honda-branded Givi (or Givi-lookalike) luggage, which isn't available in NZ. (We also don't get the ABS model. We do get a bigger range of colours than the Mrkns do though.)

We don't need no steenkin' luggage.
