    MotoGP delayed on sky again

As per the title - this weekends gp is delayed till monday morning when we will all be at work again.

I signed up for sky at the start of the year to watch sbk and motogp live, the rest of thier programs are shite. Has anyone ever had any luck getting out of thier 12 month contract with Sky before?

Le Tour is great, it makes me want to go to France again.

Delayed coverage of Moto GP or SBKs, however, makes me want to phone the office, pinch my nose and say, "I dink I got da flu".

Just goes to show you what those who work at Sky Sport think of Motorcycle Racing, (Not Much obviously). The sooner they get a Only Motorsport Channel the better. The amount of Rugby they put on there is ridiculous especially when there is already an only Rugby channel.
About time Sky Sport got their act together when it comes to The World Superbikes and the Moto GP and put it on Live instead of delayed coverage which is not what we pay our money for.

Afternoon shift. I get to watch it before I go to work. But you are right, it sucks that they keep doing this. Lets see them do the same to a rugby game huh.

Here's an idea - all the bike fans should not pay the months subscription next month as protest and maybe then they will realise that we do exist.

I have even written to the owners of the superbike series to let them know what kiwis think of skys coverage of thier series.

Problem is for a minority sport the minority that would do this will not cause Sky any issues.

As much as I love MotoGP it is a minority sport in NZ and will never get the same coverage as cricket, rugby, netball etc. I think the coverage they show is amazing i.e. the three race classes and build-up to each race.

While I agree not getting it live is a pain...(what's the difference betrween taping it at 1 am or 9am) I am happy to be getting it....if i didn't have sky I wouldn't get to see it as full coverage. so...i can understand this is not a top selling/watched sport so being able to see delayed full coverage is awesome....for me.....

i prefer the delayed coverage ,its much easier to go to work late than stay up all night.Plus they cut a lot of the pre race crap out

I have Telstra which is the same as SKy and even if i bitched directly to SKY from little old NZ , what good will it do ??
If its a complete race shown instead of the highlited rubbish on Peasant tele then im ok with it being other than live , i still record it no matter what to watch it when " i " want to watch it.

I agree, motogp.com is the most cost effective. I had issues with connection reliability last year that prompted me to get sky but it seems a bit better this year.

Not a bad idea. I would need broadband, though. I'll stick with the 20th century technology for the time being. It's nice to know there are alternatives out there.
