Nail your colours to the mast that all may look upon them and know who you are.
It takes a big man to cry...and an even bigger man to laugh at that man.

Dirt bikes or a boat?? WTF.........Sounds like that treatment sapped all of the testosterone clean outa ya.

Test rides: R1 was a dog, vibrated oddly, had poor fueling and lack of power. ZX, GSXR and CBR were all great bikes. For me it was CBR [small, well handling] followed very closely by the GSXR [as good as the CBR [if not better in some areas] but let down by hand numbing vibes at 100kmh], then the ZX that just felt a little cheap. The R1 was a distant last, big, ungainly, not that sharp to turn [certainly not as fast as the GSXR or CBR] and that horrible motor-what was Yamaha thinking?

The reality is that I would buy another GSXR. 75000km trouble free from my K6, has never spat me off or behaved badly. Ridden in all weathers and over all sorts of roads [including the track] the K6 has made me a staunch supporter.

GSXR replacement for me would in all likleyhood be the most attractive financial deal and the CBR oil usage horror stories stop me swapping to the Honda brand.

So yeah GSXR for the win.
