Hey guys my memory is ferked. What other suzuki 250's use the same engine as the GN250? I thought DR250 but then I wondered if its a higher compression cam than the GN.
Yep The latest GN has the classic worn rockers and cam lobe --bugger it.

DR250 from 82-89 i believe (has the attachment for the decomp lever though), Volty, GZ250

Easy to fix just get them built back up, I've had it done with GN125 rockers and cam
Kelford Cams in Chch did it for me but you must have someone local that could do it

I have two spare cams for a 1988 DR250...one of which was out of GN250 any way, let me know if you're interested.

if a cop pulled you up would he even check the engine or just look at the sidepanel '250' and let you go he probably would aye. or put 250 panels on a gn400..
