Nope. I was told that by a male biker friend of mine, courtesy of a "stroppy" female friend of his. It rang true, so I've never forgotten it.

Doesn't sound girlie to me. Do you have a daughter? If not you won't undertsand how untidy girls are. You are lucky to be able to get into my daughter's room for all the stuff she has hung neatly (yeah right!!) on the floor. My son is totally different everything always neat and tidy. I better not say anything about my wife and her habits.

My idea of a mans bike is a Honda - not temperamental at all, just always ready to ride.

Some people go on about chararacter of bikes and they are usually talking about bikes with many flaws and they say Hondas are boring. Give me boring any day if that's what it is. I prefer cruising along the road rather than trying to fix the bloody thing or wait for help all in the name of character.

Girls riding bikes are cool as far as I am concerned - shame there's not more of them.
    Cheers

    Merv

And whose to say that biker chicks don't go for the 'rugged unshaved westie look'. I'm guessing theres more biker chicks in Westieville than any other part of Auckland.

hehe, my work here is done!

you may well be right about the 'beard' being a drawcard to *some* women Andrew but there's easier ways to attract rough females!! (not that I really think thats what you're after in a girl, but hey I could be wrong!)

ohh this thread is interesting - and CK for hte earlier post - she doesnt ride herself, she will be coming on back of VFR, has been on back of it i think 3x now, loves it... has briefly talked about getting a bike herself.. but i think it was just talk?

and pah! its so true about hondas its just not fair! but i only ride a girls bike because people told me that would mean i was queer, and apparently girls dig guys that a queer? or somthing like that? so i figure born the way i was im going to need all the help i can get... even if it means riding hondas! pahahahhahhaa!... oh but the tight, purple satin shirt is just a personal thing.. i like the way it feels across my chest.  :buggerd
