And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Bugger! But as you said in the initial posts it's amazing how little damage happened to the bike itself.

Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

It always looks aweful after a fire....
(neighbours house went up, was a shocking mess afterwards after the firecrew had put it out - after keeping the hotspots out.)
I cant believe how your bike stood up to all the flames in the garage.
If they write your bike off. Buy it back at auction for $200 and you will have so many parts for another bike... or you could re do it up.
I see your paint containers never got melted...
I hope the assessors decide to write everything off at todays market prices and that you can replace everything.
All the best.
Scary sight....I remember when our house went up a few years ago I looked down the hallway towards the kitchen.....pitch black above waist height...clear as day below.
Feel for ya mate....good luck
Made me smile seeing the fire fighting equipment by the garage....garden hose

Motor is good.
However:
All the plastics have melted over the bike. The airbox has melted into the carb mouths.
All the instruments have melted.
The seat base has melted over the battery, ignitor, fuel pump and alternator.
The back fender has melted.
The wiring loom has melted in places.
The frame has dulled and gone brittle at the top near the tank.
The tank has buckled from the heat. Still has 3/4 of a tank usable petrol, maybe.
How much do you wanna pay? Ring AMI Upper Hutt...
