    Slipstream......

Now having meet you in person just recently...

Yep, you have the face, the height and figure to be a model.

You will need a portfolio - pics of you in different clothes and different backgrounds.

You will have to pay for the pics to be taken - get them done by a very professional photographer.

You will need to find out which is the best model agency to deal with.
But you don't pay the agency upfront.
When they get you work, you will pay them a bit of commission.
It is a hard life to get into. Early nights and living the clean life.

As to your length of hair.... chat to the agency about that, as you may notice that some well known models have short hair. So it may not make much difference.

Model work comes in all sorts of form and different stuff.
IE: the warehouse brochure, bike mags, modeling shoes, hand modeling (yep sometimes the pic is only of the hands) leg modelling (same thing)
Swimsiut modelling (bikini and full swimsuit) modelling clothes for differnt shops.

I say if you are up to the long hours of sitting around and having early nights, then go for it. The model agencies will be up froint with you and tell you with you have it or not.

The top modelling agency in NZ is the Ford agency but they are hard to get hold of them.

All the best... and yep I am taking your question very seriously indeed.

Well, KK has been a bit confused on more than one occasion anyway....

Nah, get a portfolio and get it out there (wherever you want 'there' to be)
A couple of girls (and one guy) I have worked with have had a bit of modelling work.. as much as they wanted really, but most decided they didn't really want to do much of it and lost interest.
Having a portfolio would be really col to loook back on in 50 years time

Thanks for your help guys. I remembered last night that the agency I rang last night was actually my friends mum's agency, so I might just ask her directly

Like I said before, I was actually offered help with my portfolio with mates rates (I think I might just be paying for the prints.)

    mmmmm Milla

Crashe: I have early nights anyway and _try_ to be healthy due to the kids.

M/D: Yes my bike and licence are priorities, but this is why I'm asking about whether I should bother or not.
Do I risk this money on model training first and maybe get more money because of it, or do I hold it off for longer and maybe lose my looks while paying off a bike?

Yet again, thanks for the help I'll let you guys know if I become one ... And no, I won't be posing for playboy.... unless I get the centrefold (lotsa bling) j/k
