    Diadora safety?

Hi all, I'm looking to get some new boots and after looking around a bit the Diadora ones like this or this seem to be a really good price for the apparent/relative safety features compared to other boots around similar price points.

But I can't find any info on the company itself like an official website or any information on whether these boots meet safety certifications. Anyone know anything more?

But it still doesn't say anything about meeting certifications.. although I guess they wouldn't be allowed to sell them if they didn't?

As far as I am aware Diadora haven't gained CE approval as yet, and seeing as they aren't showing evidence of that on their website I guess that is still the case.
If you really want a boot with CE approval you'll have to look at Alpinestars, Sidi or Oxtar to name a few that come to mind.

You need to look for a label like the attached, but be aware that some no-name Chinese boots may show a fake CE mark! (Apparently meaning China Export or some similar thing)

That said, Diadora used to make some pretty good boots, haven't seen much of their stuff about lately so can't comment quality wise, but perhaps someone else here has the Eagles and can comment?

Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that, who cares? ...He's a mile away and you've got his shoes
