Question regarding Track day Insurance

G'day All.

I have been planning to do track day fro quite a long time. So, i decided to start off with AMCC Advance rider training track day at puke on 30.09.2009.
So i called my insurance co.(PROTECTA) to check if they will cover me for the track day, but they refused to do so stating that i had a previous claim in past, therefore the underwriting manager has declined my request.
So is there any other way i can get insurance for my track day?
I know i can ride safely in my limits but what about any wanna be rossi who will just take me off the track with him

well shop around for another insurance company. who will cover you.

I was pleasantly surprised with Swann Insurance who covered my bike with less excess than State and less per year as well. Plus the cover track days out of the box! You just need to let them know you will be doing a track day before you go ahead and do it. Now, need to get some gear to protect my skin at speed

I've had the same issue with these guys - what's funny is they will cover me for the track day in Taupo on the 28th, but because my off was at Puke they won't cover me for the AMCC ART day!
