    Thanks for the offer.
A 160/60/17 - so slightly wider? Would that still be alright on a 4.5" rim I wonder?
Being slightly wider than stock fitment would create a slower tip in would it not? But then the GPR100 I have on the front has quite a soft curve to it, so they may work well togther.
Just a bit worried about the Power One being quite 'slick' like. I am hopeing to have the RGV out at the next Vic round, and with no warmers, and the 'always possibility' of a wet track, + the rider that is no-where near good enough to get the best out of a good tyre....

I'll keep it in mind, and see what else comes up.

    Thanks.

slightly slower tip in, i use it on my stock zxr rims and its fine. i like it better than the 150. It has less than 5% tred so almost a slick, works fine without warmers but prbly not so good in the wet.

I have 2 supercorsas (SC), 160 width though.

One has done one race weekend and suffered a bit of cold shear but has quite a lot of tread left. The other is worn more, but still not quite down to the wear indicators.

I would like $150 for both.

I have BT090's on Trade Me - not computre literate enough to add the link but search them and you'll find them.
They're supposed to be good in the wet also.

(Remembering I haven't ridden on any of these tyres, and have no idea how good they are other than what I read.)

Thanks Deano. Supercorsas, once again - without tyre warmers, in a short sprint race on a wet track at Manfield... May not be the best idea for what I need. But if you bring them to the track, I would have a look at them.

090's may be a good tyre for me. Would probably only want the rear.
Lets talk after your auction finishes if they aren't sold.

    Thanks.
    Any one else?

Dunlop GPRa10 150/60/17 perfect for ya.

    Hey racey,

i have a GPRa10 rear 150/60/17, i purchased it before Paeroa, used it 3 times total, paeroa, one race at taupo VMCC, and the threw it on in the arvo at rnd 2 long track.

I won both F3 and Post classics races ( OUT RIGHT in PCs INFRONT OF THE 1100's ) on this rear tyre.

it has 3.7mm on sides and 4mm in the middle left - great tyre as its an incredibly soft street based tyre - with tread to the edge. I ran them all last year on my ZXr400 with my 4.5inch rim. Very good in the wet because of the tread to the edge which pirellis and michi dont.

used with me ohlins so good wear on it

pics added - let me know as i use them as intermediates on my bike now!! and ill get a new one if you buy this one

    Hmmm. Tempted.

In my mind (rightly or wrongly) GPRa10's are a similar tyre to BT090's.
I guess you used warmers on them?
What ever I get will be a compromise between dry grip and wet. Not that I'll be riding very aggressively, as this will be my first time out on the RGV in a race, and I'm really just there to have a play and compare it to other 250's in superlites.

Give me 24 hours to think about it. Will get back to you.

road/proddy tyres are what you'll be looking at - yes i used warmers, if you have them you use them - road tyres will warm up faster. Particulary 090's or gprs, both are a street based tyre. ( i used 090's on my vj23 RG )

you just want something that will heat up fast, with tread to the edge.

Suggest making both ends have the same "grip" if you have a sticky rear and poo front your gona ask for trouble - ive done it!!

no worries - as i said i still use mine - and will always have them as an intermediate tyre.
