Bummer the first round clashes with the pacific summer series !!!
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

Oh FFS. How does $hit like this keep happening? It's not like there are club races happening every week. I'm not gonna start another MNZ rant as the utter stupidity of the situation yet again speaks for itself.

Subject to change, but pencil them in:

    Round 4: March 7th
    Round 5: April 18th

Also at Pukekohe, remember the nationals will be between Rounds 3 and 4

In the big bad world, when the track is available, clubs run race meetings. Note the reference to "When the track is available". Turn a date down and a car club will take it!! Nothing anyone can do about that. The circuit owners simply want the place rented out, preferably to Car Clubs because they pay more.

AMCC doing 5 rounds plus the Nationals at Hampton Downs, good on 'em!
The Nationals is on March 26/27 so will fall between rounds 4 & 5 (if these dates stick)
Thanks for the heads up & early warning

ah, sorry, yes, nats between rd 4 and 5, not 3 and 4.

I believe only the nats are at Hamptons, rounds are at Pukekohe.

I'm surprised that Pukekohe would bother to stay open once Hampton downs opens

Ahhhhh. Someone with the intelligence to think before posting on KB.
Biggles. I suspect that you will spend less travelling to Taupo & Manfeild to race than you will to compete at Hampton Downs. And that is the hire structure, NOT the AMCC trying to fleece you.

Yeup, Hamptons is expensive to hire... maybe Pukekohe will get cheaper with Hamptons opening?

From the marshal perspective alone, Hamptons will need a little more than double the marshals compared to Pukekohe. Put into perspective, its the same number AMCC provides for Paeroa... At Paeroa, we're also bolstered by the local car club, so there are even more marshals.
