Vibration problem

But (and this is the worrying bit) putting the clutch in almost elimiates in vibration completely.

So i managed to get to the shop yesterday and the prognosis was that chain wasn't on the sprocket staight (looked fine to me?!) and the wheel balance was slightly out.

If that was really the case then pulling the clutch in would have made no difference to the level of vibration
