Get an FXR150, spend a little more than you want to, you wont need to upgrade in 6 months.About 3/4s of the chch buckets are FXRs
My neighbours diary says I have boundary issues

Hi, good call but unfortunately my budget wont allow me to do that at the moment, would be nice to get some experience before going to an FXR so will see if anything suitable turns up...Cheers

that there is a 20+hp bike with little work
after you buy that start looking for a good frame to put the engine into

make a very good prody bike and you could get close to 18hp out of it with the standard pipe

    or http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Mo...-332800702.htm

and someone would bring it to Taupo at christmass then someone could take it to Christchurch after the TRRS you woudln't have to do much more than put slicks on it

    .

Have a look here to see some simple mods that get 20+ rwhp

    http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...-tuner/page200

NedKellys makes 23rwhp and that's without much modification............
