I like the idea of extending the hall of fame. Fastest tag will change infrequently which kinda makes the hall a bit boring. If we want to avoid shit talk then we need to make the targets objective - ie based on some simple, irrefutable comparison. Subjective prizes requiring nominations sounds like something you'd dish out in a pub on a social evening when we can all share a laugh. So my ideas for objective (ie non-pub) awards are as follows.

1. Fastest Tag - awarded to the finder for being so quick.
2. Most bikes in a tag - awarded to the finder who shares the journey with the most mates.

I thought about hardest (or longest) tag but I don't think we want to be encouraging tags that are too obscure and difficult to find.

I'm sure you've got other ideas so let's have em.

agreed on the longest tag, dont want to encourage real hard ones. Most bikes is a good idea, are we sposed to be avoiding talking shit in this thread? ive kinda been going with an opposite stratergy there

Nah, shit talk is all good. I am trying to save Owl from having to step in and rule when us kids can't can't decide who's the hottest tagger on the block. By the way that'd be me

Looking back through the thread there are quite a few tags with two bikes visible. The award for "Most Bikes in a Tag" goes to Mandy, Supersonic and =CJ= with three bikes in this tag.

We cud always do a voting system on the tagorama website, im sure others would be happy to do the relevant coding for it. Gotta have something to do while we wait for the next tag, heaven forbid i actually get any uni work done today

We cud do a hottest tagger, obviously the person with the most tags wud get it, a burst tagger, most tags in 24hr period for non voting ones, voting ones have been suggested earlier (i cud probly do a SIFT comparison on the images to get a non biased closest match score, but voting is better), also most ridiculous bike pose would be a good-un to add.

I'm not sure we have enough flex with a Google site to code a poll unless it can be done through Google Docs. How often would polls be run? Every time a new or interesting tag was made? I'm still thinking this would be something done less frequently in conjunction with beer and pizza. Then it could be run on KB as a poll attached to a thread.

Actually now that I check, I think Road King has it over both of us. We're tied three ways with three tags each in a 24hr period. I got 52,54,56 in 11:10 and 63,66,68 in 5:16. Bogan, you got 70,73,75 in 21:17. Road King got 76,78,80 in only 3:58!!!
