You should take your bike in for 'show & tell' day (are you still allowed to call it that or has it sexual connotations?).

You could show them how to do a burnout and how to do a wheelie.

    Excellent education.

    PS.

As a parent I find it good that you are actually doing something on these teacher only days.

I always though it was a excuse for all teachers to get together to smoke, drink, swear and have feverish sex with each other.

have you ever noticed that the teacher only days are on a MONDAY OR A FRIDAY OR ON THE END OF A LONG WEEKEND/HOLIDAY.
    grrrrr

teacher only days mean a day with no pay for me or my wife, last 3 weeks we have had 3 different days with 3 different schools, you'd think they could at least co-ordinate to ease the hassles.
It's starting to wear thin with the employers.
    Yes I know my enemies
They're the teachers who taught me to fight me....

Seriously this pisses me off and I see it simply as a rort. (if I was a teacher I'd do it too)

Well so much for riding off into the wild blue yonder Had to help out at the olds fush n'chup shop right after I had finished up at school ... so managed to sneak in about 15 minutes of riding!

Worked like a zombie until 8pm rolled around and rode home ... I must be knackered since I don't want to go out and ride!

My brain hurts and right now I don't want to reflect or do anything except stare vacantly into the distance ... oh KB ... that is the opiate to my strained brain!

Yes, I often wondered what happens to the kids when they are let loose on the streets ... wonder if the crime stats spike?

You have all that shit too then.

Having to align your teaching with the new curriculum and the school's vision and values whilst integrating this year's professional development objectives and every senior management hobby horse and all the time trying to, in consulation with 'difficult' parents, differentiate the learning of the two hundred kids you meet each week even though it generally takes all your energy to 'entertain' them just to keep a lid on behaviour driven by e-numbers and hormones and even though you think that maybe they should just accept that in life you sometimes have to just do work you don't want to do because that's how it is and you don't feel like you can be a whizz-bang three part lesson delivering entertainer every lesson today and f'k it I'd rather be out on my bike.....

Phew. If it wasn't for bikes I'd go postal.
