    I think it definately depends on the road... And the riders mentality... It is good for anything up to about 120/130, after that, a sportbike would be better. Where the KTM feels all loose and skitterish, a sportbike is still planted and effortless.

    You cant have been near a 690 then hehe, planted and spanking to 150.

    Lets just say I know enough to know the pros and cons of each... And yes, specifically referring to a 690SM...

    Anything tight and twisty, yes, the 690 is awesome. Personally, I just prefer a sportbike...

    BTW, have fun on it Quasi... They are fun for what they are...
