Welcome dude, sory to hear about the 'liner, 32 or ?

I still can't get enough of the sideways action lol

Anyhows, I'm in the retail sector too, if you guys have a back room then just take your to gear on say Sunday night and just get changed when you're there during the week, saves the hassle of carrying too much shiz back and forth.

And yeah definitely get the gears first dude, some cats in cages like to merge without indicating more often than not I've found

Take it easy on the roads and enjoy!!!

Go and buy a thou, then learn how to ride. Crash a few times, then buy gear.
Get a few tickets, then get license.

    Sorted.

Sorry to hear about your car and welcome... bikes are just better!

The third party deal only works if you have fire and theft included... I thought I had this 'standard' policy that included this for about 4 years until my modded 4g63 got taxed.....
I lost over 12g in that crap... I even sold my a vt250f to buy an exhaust for the car...... man i was dumb... and a traitor.

With your weight thing... you can easily fit on most bikes.. Dont worry about the speed of the bike. Just learn how to ride one first then go upgrade.

    Thought about rg150?

Keep a close eye on tardme for those r33 parts!!! they will surface eventually.
    holding the line...

Just though i might post a little intro thread, as i feel im going to be on this forum a lot now.

Basically, im 21, and ive been driving cars for years now... owned about 14 of them, until last week my R33 skyline got stolen, and due to it being so expensive for me to insure, i never did.... and now its gone for good.

Im involved in a lot of modification with cars, and would consider myself a car enthusiast, but now times are changing.

over the past few days, whilst taking the bus to work, ive been thinking long and hard about getting another car, and have come to the conclusion that im better off getting my learners MB license, and getting a cheap 250cc.

Cheaper to run, cheaper to insure, no worries with parking.... well hell, i dont need to tell you guys the advantages to them!

Right now, im saving up money while i think about whether to get a cheap bike first with cash off trademe, then get my learners and then the gear... and then ride it, or get a loan, get a bike and all the gear and then get learners with the cash.

    Either way, its bike time.
Great enthusiam you have there - keep it up

Hey mate. Welcome to the madness!

Whatever bike you get, make sure you take it easy..too many guys fark themselves up on bikes when they jump on minus the experience. Do it right and you'll never look at 4 wheels the same again!

As for the pants question, I know what you mean...What I do is take my nicely pressed work pants with me rolled up in my tankbag (or packrack bag) with my dress shoes. I then wear my shirt etc under my jacket and it doesnt get too rumpled. That way I can ride in my full leathers (look up ATGATT) and get changed when I get to work.

Once again, welcome and good luck. It's always good to see more people seeing the light and moving to two wheels!
