ok so at a glance there are three windings and i have to get the wires in the right order so...

anyone got photos of the orignal wiring on the stator side and what coils match up to what colors on the loom ??? so far every diagram i have seen just has that same picture of three coils but its not clear if they are all the same or not ???? im confused.

    here goes

the three yellow are the 3 phases - they don't matter as to order. On gn250's I believe they wire two phases into the r/r unit. The last phase however goes into the lights. At memory, the red striped white wire from the r/r plugs into one side of the main light switch, and the other phase goes into the other? It doesn't matter about which colour does what though I think. My charging system hasn't failed on it anyway. (failed on other things, eg 40C days in hanmer)
