    How lucky was that?

A group of hungry riders in the middle of nowhere. No shops or cafes around and all of a sudden a fresh lump of meat appears.

Sounds like BBQ on the side of the road time to me!

If you're going to run over a deer, make sure it's a little one. Just over a year ago I ran over fawn just north of Manchester California. Two-up on the FJR at the time were we. Fortunately for us the poor little bugger was mostly skin and bones. I felt sad for his mum.

That deer really wanted to cross the road. I guess we'll never know why now.

It's very common in Mrka to collid with deer, especially at dusk or dawn.
One of the forums I frequent had a story of a guy who hit a grizzly bear.
Just a glancing blow, and the bear ambled off, but the bike had some minor cosmetic damage, and clumps of bear fur, skin and blood on one side.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....
