Blah It is the end of Summer let's have a Party

I don't know about you guys but this summer has been a real bikefest for me. I've been riding for nearly 20 yrs (OMG!) and the past year or so has been the most intensive riding that I have done. Combine that with the fact that I have really enjoyed it more through KB and I think it is worth throwing a party in celebration. First in celebration of good summer (although it started wet), second in celebration that we are all still alive, third in celebration of Kiwi Biker which serves to unite riders accross NZ for the purpose of riding and talking about our favourite thing.... bikes.

I propose a party at my new place in Albany either this Saturday or the one after to celebrate the above. I live in Albany on a rural spot, have plenty of room, and privacy. SO what I want to know to start off is are u up for it and what do you prefer this Sat i.e.10th or the following the 17th?

Style for the get together is very informal, BBQ, and booze lots of...please sleep over if you want.

So to confirm the day is Saturday the 16th arrive 6ish. 10/361 Paremoremo Road, Albany. All the way down the drive/track to the last house on the right.

I'd suggest the weekend of 16/17 April.
Next weekend is the Taupo trackday, and the Waikato rally is on the 23/24 April weekend (I think).

Have you got a burnout pad yet?
We're all fucked. I'm fucked. You're fucked. The whole department is fucked. It's the biggest cock-up ever. We're all completely fucked.

Sounds like a good idea it would be a nice house warming party

keep us updated! lots of people going down to Taupo on the 9th (Sat) and 10th (Sun).... You can't have them drinking on Saturday and racing on the Sunday!

Fraser: Since you are in Albany now, if you are free, come round and pick up that CD of the pics!! or i can drop them off.

That sounds like a plan. I'll be busy these couple of weekends but will definitely drop by even for a short while and contribute to the beer pool.

i seem to remember a similar event taking place at mitch's old pad when she was up here. Bring a plate, bring some booze, places to crash the night ( a floor to sleep on once you have tucked your bike into the bed) and general good times
Lump lingered last in line for brains,
And the ones she got were sort of rotten and insane...
