I'm not saying you are not hardworking and responsible. I'm saying you are using the same techniques that internet scammers use, probably completely inadvertently.

There are two parts to this ;

1.) People with guns in their closet should emphatically NOT type their name and address into some website who pleads with them to do so on the basis of "honesty" and "goodwill" etc.

2.) Valid and useful organisations (allegedly such as yours), should emphatically NOT use the same techniques as scammers and phishers use because it makes them look small and ineffective, and normalises all sorts of activities that are risky.

Think for a minute how easy it would be for me to do exactly what you are doing... Scary isn't it.. I could scam a huge amount of information in just hours, and this is PRECISELY the way internet scammers work.

Take a hint ok, and stop being so sensitive. Go build a proper website, and start again. It's only a few days delay, and your image is at stake.

This is the internet, not the pub, and if it was the pub, would you even do it?
