    Here are the dates for the NZPCRA Championship.

    Round 1 26-27 Sep 2009 Manfield Vic MMC Winter series Round 5
    Round 2 31-Oct-2009 Taupo NZPCRA GP (points for both races)
    Round 3 12-13-Dec-2009 Pukekohe AMCC Club series Round 2
    Round 4 14-Mar-2010 Hampton NZPCRA (points for both races)
    Round 5 27-28 Mar 2010 Hampton NZ National Championship Round 5
    Round 6 24-Apr-2010 Pukekohe AMCC Club series Round 4

    At rounds 2 and 4 there will be two races for each class and both of the points from these races will count towards the series.
    At the other meetings the points will be the overall for the day.
    Check out the NZPCRA in the clubs forum of kiwibiker.

    For the NZPCRA the classes are;
    pre'72 pre'82 and pre'89, juniors and seniors
    Basically juniors is upto and including 600cc machines, while seniors is anything above 600.
    The full details on classes are on their website.

    I am not sure who is coming down just yet, but there are some very fast guys in Auckland. I've never won a race at Puke, and some of the pre'82s have also kicked my butt.
    Last years '89 senior champ (Nick) is putting away his RC30 and trying the juniors this year. Tony and Frank are both taking time off their GSXR1100s due to crashes.
    There are some new guys racing this year, A young fellow on an RZ500, Kevin Grey on a Gixer 7/11, Patrick on a GSXR1100, Ben Keller from Tauranga a Fizzer1000 and that is just a few in the '89 seniors.

    I am sure that I will be the least of your problems at Rd5.

    Dont laugh too hard , there was a sick assed bastard that rode a GL1200 Aspencade in an F1 race during the early 90s lol , it was evil in the tight stuff but got along ok in a straight line , and he still hade the stereo fitted (and going) .
    He was man enough to ride with standard fairings , you could too with the proper dedication , just do it !
