    The Gestalt Effect

The gestalt effect (part of it anyway) is when you seen the outline of a word and fill in what you don't see to recognise the whole word...

This morning I followed a car with the personalised plate

    CUTN IT

    Guess what my mind saw....

Is that the same effect as when I see a lady with a nice rack that my xray vision kicks in?
