    WSB Phillip Island

Great result for the Alstare Corona boys. The GSXR K5s look awesomely fast (not that I'm at all biased). I think that the other teams will be a bit worried now.

Shocking weather, especially in the second Superbike race.

Did you see Andrew Pitt's eye after his spill?

Has anyone heard how Andrew Stroud got on in the second race? I see that the TV had him listed as high as 12th at one stage.

Yeh, the racing was cool, and Pitt's eye was pretty fucked by the looks of it. Watching Corsa's teammate slide it round in the last race was pretty cool too.

I only saw a quick glimpse of the "offs" and it looked like a lot of them were 'high-siding' whereas I would have expected them to 'low-side' on the slick surface, any of you racers out there care to explain? Or did I just see wrong? :spudwhat:

if it had been super sport u would see low sides but the power from the 1000cc bikes hits the track a lot harder so they start spinning up the rear then shut the throttle then highside....
