Pete, did you make new connectors for the loom to race cdi?

The wires break around the cdi plug for some reason, i think they get tugged when u weight the seat left or right, and that will be why ur one cuts out on left hand bends. if you havent already then cut the loom down then u should - its great and you only have hmmm 4 or 5 wires left over which depends if u have a dash or not. Then if it still dont work use a voltage meter to make sure the wires left are not broken somewhere, if not then look up at ur off on switch and track the wires down to the switch and just cross them over so its on 'on' no matter what the switch is set to.

ha! you prolly tried all this already!

anyhow with the loom cut down you will soon find the fault!

I only run the cdi the regulator and coil with no unnesasery lumb the cdi is in the cut down air box/electrical box and the regulator up out the back there are no wires under any thing.
I had used hot melt before the 2 hour to make a solid state plug it went well in the 2 hour apart from the standerd carb with a loose diafram 36minites in to it the bike crashed and never went again since then has had you piston kit fited and new carbs of werying oragin have setled with a vt 250 carb with a pod filter.
I changed exhaust from a drz125 pro curket becouse it ran down the side of the carb and may of been a problem and the tempory track marshal said it was to loud to a standard header with a tzr silencer up front and underneath
This was not ment to be a dig at you or you products thats bucket racing it works or it dosent normaly dosent becouse we are to focused on the wrong thing and dont wont to pay otheres to have a look

Here is something for the FXR boys.

YouTube pics of valve bounce in action.

Harmonic vibration of the valve spring.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i_Npz...eature=related

How to set your cam timing when you become confused and how to straighten bent valves after trying too hard.
    A couple of gems here.
