    Run in required?

I'm getting 2 inlet valves and 2 exhaust valves replaced in one cylinder, both cam chain tensioners replaced as well.

Will I need to run the parts in? or will I be sweet to go on the motorway/rev the bike higher than 6k or whatever

    No run-in required.
Your valves will slide up and down the valve guides many millions of times without causing any wear on the stems.... Well, next to nil.

Running-in is for Piston Rings to match the bore of an engine.
It is debatable if you even need to worry about that these days.

Nah you should be fine, mate.

Just ride it very quietly for the first few minutes and keep an ear open for any unusual sounds - kill it and phone the guy if it makes any strange noises.

Then whip out on the motorway and spend 20 mins or so at 6-7000 rpm, again - listen for anything amiss. After that, its business as usual.

Good to hear you are back in business.
