Other option is to use the 3M scuff stop stuff, and it wherever contact may be made.

		Got some from Para Rubber $15 for a sheet 2m x 1m.They said it should do the job.
Not sure where you get it but theres similar stuff used by boaties and caravanners to stop stuff slipping around whle the vehicles are moving. I think i have seen something similar in the good old $2 shops as well, just smaller than 2x1.
