What a fantastic day, couldnt have asked for better weather or company
Left Palmerston North at 5.0 am and got home at 6.30. A couple of interseting moments, the first on Eight mile where someone decided to dump a river on the road and the second on the desert road with a police car doing a u turn in front of usresulting in an apology from the oficer and the twat in his gold colour sabaru that was tailgating us getting a ticket. I have to admit it brought a smile to my face when the said twat barreled past us on one of the straights and just as he he got beside me my radar detector went nuts. There is a god
Thanks John and your sponsers for what was an awesome day, well organised and planned even got the weather perfect
The Paraparas were simply awesome in the dry and daylight. I was having a leak at the Ratahei service station when i heard a bike pull up in the forcourt, a moments silence then a loudwoohoo, My thoughts exactly

And more good news for the Manawatu riders: John entrusted me with the ride certificates and this year I managed to get them home without drowning them. Although Mark (Bluebandito) had similar issues with his drink this time around.
Those I've got are:

- Zahria
- Mark Taylor (not sure we've met?)
Let me know how we can hook up or if you're coming to a FNR or the Hikoi and I'll pas them onto ya.
Certainly lots of Wahoo moments-and many thoughts about the lovely country we live in and how easy it is for us to jump on our bikes for a bit of a visual recharge after the week.
The Latte crew had an awesome day-we can report that the coffees at Wildbean are consistant across most of the North IslandThanks for the opportunity to sample them again John and Ann-excellent organisation and route (we only got lost once....didn't we Ducky

Great company again .....roll on next year.

Hello officer put it on my tab
Don't steal the government hates competition.
Fantastic day, I really enjoyed, and was amazed that I felt reasonably fresh when we hit Petone.
My first endurance ride, and the VTR was reasonably comfortable.
I ran out of fuel 3km's from feilding, had to use my backup 5lt petrol can...
Mint roads to ride, the whole day was a real buzz.
Cheers to the organizers, I will definately do that again!
Capital Cruise and TT2000 2012. Looking forward to my two big rides!
