Insurance companies SUCK!

Yeah, write a letter to the guy and his insurance company, saying that youre going to take this to small claims..then go file a complaint with the police, then call the guy up and tell him to get his shit sorted orelse youll sue him(followed up with the letter)..keep harassing the guy..that tends to work...even after the guy gets his 'details' to the insurance company..youll still need to keep harassing the insurance company..Thats what insurance companies do, they dick you around until you go away..so you keep harassing them...in the mean time, try get your bike back to a rideable state.

Why would they share them with anyone when its going to cost money.
They can hide behind the fact that they cant share personal client information out to anyone.

Problem is he has lost the other guys details and doesnt know who or where he is and the other guys insurance company is not going to give out this info.

Time for a new approach then.

I'd get the cops involved - maybe they have a report, and/or try to bully the insurance company into providing the details, or else try some social engineering tricks and see if you can get someone to speak up.

But yeah if you can't get his details you are screwed.
