Indeed, but I had to do something with all these 320's I had left over from my old Raid5!
The Raid0 partition is strictly operating system and programs I've installed as well as all other data I don't care if I lose.
My User's files like documents, settings, my pictures, saved games whatever are all stored on the Raid1. If I lost one of my hard drives in the raid0 tomorrow, it would just be a matter of reinstalling the OS and pointing it to the spot on the raid1 where I have everything and hey presto, my docs, desktop, settings etc are all back.
Jafa: Your raid5 was an inherently bad idea. It was a linux SOFTWARE raid5 running on dodgy hardware where hard drives may or may not be connected at any one time.
