also still space in my van for some bits, and has a towbar if anyone wants their bike 'trucked' down and then carpool follows.. 2 bikes in the van (as long as JustSomeGuy hasn't backed down (it's ok if you have dude..)), still can take a trailer. If you've got a better bike than his, then you can play RPS to get the bike in the van if you want.. I don't care, I'm just the showfer
If ya gonna have a fully loaded vehicle then I'd head down the Matamata way. Its shit loads easier even if its boring as heck.
keep in mind --sighn on/scrutineering starts at 8.30. Riders breifing is at 9.00 its about a 3.5 hour drive.

Didn't think it was open til gone 9..? Well I had suggested to leave around 5am to aim to be there for 9, given the odd stop and 'getting lost' time of around 4 hours.. How realistic is it? Also bearing in mind that I don't think we are going to get lost (how hard can it be?!), and that there will be hardly any traffic at all..
suggestions then? Anyone traveling with me is welcome to stay over the night before to make it easier... as long as you don't smell and make weird noises..
four hours in non rush hour traffic is gonna be about right.
Im hoping/planning to have the first group on the trrack by 9.30
simple math says that to get 3x 15 minute sessions x 4 before lunch is gonna mean we hafta start early.
Anyhoo the ambulance is booked from 9.30-5 so i dont wanna waste moneys.

how long is scrotumering goin on for? I'm guessin it'd be a little less than a dozen bikes at most, there at 9, I'd be ready for the track at 9.10 myself...
We could always leave a touch earlier.. with a bit of luck, the wind would be behind us too..
well mate Ill be there about 7.30 ish to set up.
sighn on starts at 8.00 as does scrutineering. -finishing at 9.00
marshalls breif will be 9.00
Riders brief will be 9.15
Ambulance arrives at 9.30 so we can start riding then.
itll start with 4 slow laps for newbees --and I'm hopeing we will get a group photo.

k, so may be revise the leaving time then..
I think 5 will still be ok from the a/b,there won't be much traffic that early so we should be able to set a decent pace, get some brekky before we go and just cruise all the way there....![]()

k, I'm still convinced we'll make it.. just can't bear the thought of having to wake up any earlier!!!
I was gonn aleave about 6ish. Beauty sleep and all that.
What traffic is there at that time?
traffic at 6am on a sundasy--should be very light.
I'm just too darn lazy to drive that far in one day.
