Nothing to do with bikes for a change

Sunset tonight from our deck, never seen such a stunner - it looks like the sky is on fire. We're so lucky in NZ with our beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

Think I'll go and have a single malt on the strength of that

    Awesome pics Blackbird.

Always get awesome light at sunset.

Might sample a tiny laphroaig or two myself now that you mention it.

That's a Glenmorangie sky, if ever I saw one. No ice, and just a dash of water.

The 25 is not commensurately better than the 18 based on cost. Indeed the Glenmorangie 12 takes a power of beating in a vertical tasting.

The only 25-year-old malt I have ever owned was a Campbelltown. I ended up a half-share owner with my brother after we got seriously liquored at a Malt Whisky Society do. As you do. $275. Ouch.

    Your not wrong.

Getting licquored at a Malt Society Do will do that to your wallet everytime.

I tend to stick to the 10yr laphroaig or the 12yr glenfiddich, a bit eaiser on the wallet.

It is indeed and a 12 year old Glenmorangie was sipped appreciatively!

Ed - now see what you've done
