    I was driving through a rocky and heavily forested area around Whakamaru about then, and there was a fantastic orange sky to the west, and a full half-circle shimmering ultrabright rainbow to the east with a bright orange center to it, along with the road signage fully lit up by my bright lights. It was one of those wow moments you wish you could shove down the lens of some camera but sadly it would be impossible. I'll just have to remember it.
