    GN250 top speed

    I test rode a GN250 and was not sure if it was running correctly seemed a bit flat like the jetting was wrong
    Whats the top speed on these mean machines???

    Maybe a genuine 110-120kph -- 130kph under exceptional circumstances (wind or drafting, downhill etc.).

    my top speed was about 140 down the methven straight with a backwind...

    but 130 is about tops if ya squat down a bit

    I had a 2005 built one maxing out at 110kmh flat tack, i've had a 1980's built one to 130kmh+

    It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

    Ive had mine at 130kmh going downhill. Cruises fairly happily at 110 though.

    the only one i've ridden showed 130k's on the speedo, sounded like it was going to explode...

    Yip mine did about that speed, tested it once I had sold it on the straights just after Ruakaka....taking it to its new owner, passing a milk tanker...140 I think rung out!

    I had my 04 model to 125ish on the flat after about five years of holding it open, and managed a drafting best of around 135.
