Anybody wanting to find out more about what goes on or ask any questions about ART track days, a few of us will be at the AMCC club rooms this evening and will be more than happy to advise.

Damn, If i'd got home from work a bit earlier, I would have popped over...
Out of curiosity... I've had a bit pissing around, trying to get a back protector... I've ended up getting one that is specific for my ixon jacket, but is a full on C.E. plastic and foam thing, just replaces the standard foam in the back of the jacket... please tell me that "ticks the box" as far as the back protection goes ?
I also ordered some Oggy Knobs... just in case... however, there was a stuff up and Cycletreads only ordered 1 knob.... bugger !![]()
Just got an email from AMCC saying this day is fully booked, so anyone planning on showing up on the day and riding may be out of luck.
Hopefully the rain will stay away as I will be out track for the first time on my Multistrada! (the R6 isn't ready)
Which group is the inapropriate track bike group?
i'll be there =]
hope the weather holds out
is <3 supposed to be a heart or an ass hat?
Just a note that this event is now 100% booked. If you have not pre-registered you wont be able to turn up on the day.
I don't think they have lockers but do they have a facility (hopefully secure) where the riders can keep belongings? (e.g. Camera, food/drink)
I understand we get a meal for lunch (if pre-registered) but is there a cafeteria or such too?
From memory there is no cafe or anything you can actually spend money at.
When it comes to lunch you go to the Jennian homes building, and you get a pack of sandwiches/roll, drink and some fruit. Don't forget to bring some drinking water (water at track is not drinkable).
Probably not a bad idea to bring yourself some snacks as well.
Apart from toilets, don't count on their being any other facilities.
Facilities at Pukekohe are limited, but. There are toilets!
Pre booked riders are catered for with a ‘packed lunch’ however it is good advise to bring additional snacks and drinks because generally there isn’t any catering on sight for ART events.
On your way to the circuit stop at the service station at the roundabout of Massey Ave, Stadium Dr & Manukau Rd or further down Manukau road and stock up on snacks and take the opportunity to fill up with gas. There will be opportunities to ‘nip out’ to fill up during the day but I’d hate for you to miss a session due to running out of petrol.
There is no secure storage area for gear but if you talk nicely to the staff in the office I’m sure a bag could be left there. I will be set up near the Jennian homes building and kit can be left in my truck if you wish.
Weather!!
The forecast looks like it may rain before the end of the day however, Pukekohe has an amazing micro climate and while all around is wet it is often remains dry (it can work in the opposite direction sometimes) as to when the weather turns wet, who knows. There is a good chance we get the day finished before it arrives.
