    Had an awesome ride today!

Illcacophony sent me a txt this morning saying weather is mint so him and his mrs are going for a ride. I was definitely up for that, better than sitting around in a lecture theatre.

Rode from coatesville, out to kaukapapaa then through to Warkworth through the twistie way, stopped for a beer then out to welsford and back down SH16.

Absolutely beautiful day for a ride and had an awesome time!

Any of you other slackers flag work today for the sake of a ride?

I rode out to Dairy flats for a job interview. Sucked up the last 70k's from my tank! I would have filled it up after being fucked around, but I put a down payment on these

Was good to have a longer ride than usual, especially the open road bit, even if it were for 2 minutens.

Some people just can't seem to comprehend that they do not have the right to be unoffended in their lives.

Me too. I ditched the afternoon work to take my new ZXR250 for it's first squirt. Long-story short, everything went well, cob-webs were blown, she fucken honked for what she is, and I ran out of gas. Got a mate to bring out my can, raced him home, got utterly dicked. All-in-all though I'm ecstatic... my new (old!) bike goes hard and runs nice, and I have a mate with a car that'll bring me petrol in a fucken jiffy

Nice bookends mate, what's the watts and what do you pump them with?

PS: What are minutens? Small biscuits?

    No longer smoking?

I missed two perfect days of riding to work because i keep hitting the snooze button. Really taking the bike should be quicker than the car but it takes me 10 minutes to put my gear on

It was great this morning. Set off at about 6:15 for a serious spin. Hit a much higher speed than usual. It was a bit naughty however there was not much around.

I suppose there is more chance of getting caught by a cop if there is not much around. Hopefully 6-7am is when they change shifts?

It was the first time that I physically realised that naked bikes are not so good at very high speeds.

As this is such a rare occurance for me, I won't be changing.

I was all set up to go for a ride (vifferbabe even suggested I visit my sister in Coromandel), but instead spent the whole day doing chores: 4 loads of washing, made breakfast, made lunch, vacuumed the house, mowed the lawn, leveled some pavers that had sunk, sanded and swept the path, did the dishes, folded the washing, then had a sulk when I heard all the bikes in the neighbourhood returning from their various rides in the lovely weather.

I bet it fuckin' rains tomorrow.

Yeah, I'm a moaning old coont...
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Nope. Must've just been some residue in the exhaust. Went for a spin today also and still no problems... so far so good!
