Hey It's Mr Nice Guy
my boss will be pleased to hear that .. she is going sunday nite .. and taken monday off work to recover...
good to hear you had a good time John![]()
Have toKarma ... Justice catches up eventually !!
Your boss isn't going to be disappointed, Sandra!
I have come away with a new appreciation of the talent that each and every one of them have. Lyndsay Buckingham was legendary, both on vocals and guitar. Stevie.... well hey, what needs to be said there! Mick Fleetwood's prowess on the drums is second to none. John McVie's bass skills.... awesome!
Pissed with rain most of the concert, but WELL worth going.
I've always liked Fleetwood Mac, and do moreso now![]()
ya lucky bugger !!

My sister and her crew went too... It seems strange how the Bowl pulls bands like Fleetwood Mac. I'd have loved to have seen them, but ah, well. Glad you had a great time John.
A dream without a plan is just a wish!
Make it happen....

Nothing better than Fleetwood Mac in the rain. Bummer to have missed it.

"read what Steve says. He's right."
"What Steve said pretty much summed it up."
"I did axactly as you said and it worked...!!"
"Wow, Great advise there DB."
WTB: Hyosung bikes or going or not.
I felt for you poor bastards when the rain started last night but it sounds like you had a good time anyway.![]()
Oh bugger
Ok , now i just plain hate you man .
I seen them 2 times in days of old and wanted to see them this time but i had stuff happening.
If you really wanna have an experiance , go to the top of the old Millard stand at Athletic Park and stomp with thousands of others to Tusk , that was awesome and frightning as it rocked like hell was falling over lol.
Paul.
Both KISS and Fleetwood Mac played at Athletic Park in 1980, within weeks of each other if I recall correctly? it pissed down for one of the bands (cant remember which one) but it was so bad that they were slippin' over. Must have been KISS in those high heals?
For those who remember Fleetwood Mac the way they started, there is a treat coming to NZ: http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...d.php?t=114117 , Peter Green will be here April 2010.
